Transportation and Transshipment of a Container |
We recently carried out a heavy haulage job from Heringen (Hessen) to Schweinfurt. The particular challenge was to find a suitable transportation route for the container (measurements: 17.20m x 5.20m x 5.20m; weight: 57to). This was especially difficult because of the total weight.
One of our Multilift partners provided us for instance with a makeshift bridge in order to guarantee the statics of a smaller bridge. The transportation escorts as well as most of the traffic guiding measures were also executed by our qualified personnel.
Once having arrived in Schweinfurt, the container was lifted onto an inland vessel by two big "Markewitsch" cranes.
